Our curated training option brings Lyceum's expert trainers to you. We will come to your home and train you and a group of up to 15 people to be responsible armed citizens in Maryland. Each member of your party will complete a personal survey that will be used to generate custom instruction and guidance on responsible firearm use. This survey will be emailed to all nominated participants during registration. Please be as detailed as possible in your responses to this survey.
Your party will select two consecutive Sundays and designate one member's home in which the training will occur. Lyceum's trainers will train you in the comfort and privacy of your own home and help you develop a personal home protection plan
Cost is $3000 and includes the state-mandated instruction required for the CCW permit as well as:

Principles of safe, effective dry-fire training
Concealment/personal carry assessment
Custom security assessment for the host home
Selecting and staging your firearms securely

Maryland + Arizona Hybrid CCW Training - $300
Covering firearm safety, defensive mindset, Maryland law, and live-fire qualification, this course meets all state training requirements for your Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. Train with purpose—build competence, confidence, and legal clarity in a supportive learning environment. This course satisfies the requiremnts for application for the out-of-state Concealed Carry license for Arizona. There is a separate fingerprinting and application fee for Arizona Department of Public Safety. See this link for additional details.

Courses with fewer than 5 enrollments are subject to cancellation. In such cases, all enrollment fees will be refunded to students or arrangements made for transfer to a different iteration of the course.

The MD Handgun Permit represents a significant investment in your personal protection. You should know at the outset that this can be an expensive proposition. In addition to the course registration fee, you will be required to obtain LiveScan fingerprints (approximately $65 depending on providers) and pay the Maryland State Police application fee ($125). Thus, your total out of pocket costs will be approximately $540 from "start to finish."
