Our Story

Lyceum Security Training Services was founded by a team whose backgrounds span the full spectrum of public safety and personal defense. Some of our members bring decades of experience in law enforcement and security leadership, while others discovered the call to become defenders later in adulthood. Together, we recognized an urgent need for high-quality, principled instruction in both armed self-defense and professional security training. The Lyceum was established to meet that need—combining real-world experience with a passion for teaching to raise the standard of safety, competence, and accountability in our community.
